She began her Spartan racing journey in 2020 and, within just one year, proudly accumulated an impressive 37 medals. In 2021, a life-altering car accident shifted her path, guiding her from athletics into the realms of high fashion and alternative modeling. Within her first year and a half of modeling, she graced the covers and features of multiple magazines and was honored as the 2025 Model of the Year by Publica Magazine.
A proud Puerto Rican from the Bronx, Karlyn is also a dedicated mother of five and a passionate advocate for model rights, mental health awareness, and survivor empowerment. She prides herself on creating safe, supportive spaces for everyone she works with, making it easy for people to be creative and ask for help. As a survivor of homelessness, domestic violence, and sexual assault, she uses her platform to raise awareness about these critical issues.
In addition to modeling, Karlyn is a jazz singer and an avid cosplayer. She volunteers with Critical Care Comics, visiting children in hospitals dressed as beloved characters to bring joy and give back to the community.
