Halle Bailey, DDG’s ex-girlfriend, filed a restraining order against him after claiming that he had abused her.
A judge in Los Angeles issued the restraining order after Bailey stated she was afraid for her safety and the protection of their one-year-old kid, Halo.
Bailey stated in court filings: “During our connection. Daryl has abused me financially, emotionally, verbally, and physically, and he still does. In order to shield our kid Halo and myself from his continued abuse, I am requesting orders.
According to Bailey, there have been several incidents of physical aggression since their split last year.
When Bailey attempted to buckle up their infant in a car in January, she said DDG attacked her, saying, “The next thing I knew, things got physical between us.” We engaged in wrestling and tussling with one another. Darryl was yanking my hair at one point. My tooth was chipped when he banged my face on the steering wheel. Then, because I was in so much pain, I gave up fighting back.
Photos of what Bailey claims were injuries brought on by DDG were also submitted in her filing.
In March, Bailey also claims that DDG verbally abused her for not sending their son to him when he was ill.
DDG has not yet addressed the restraining order or Bailey’s claims.
She says that after realizing that her Ring doorbell was recording the altercation, he broke it, and that Bailey reported the incident to the police.
