Following three shows in Vancouver this weekend—the last three concerts of a 149-show tour that brought in over $2 billion in 2023–2024—Taylor Swift said a brief but heartfelt goodbye to The Eras Tour on social media.
On Wednesday (Dec. 11), three days after the final Eras performance, the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer posted a number of live concert pictures, exactly 17. These seem to be from her three-day takeover of the Canadian city’s BC Place from Dec. 6–8. The images were accompanied by a brief statement from Swift.
It was uncommon. I was present. Swift’s post had the caption, “I remember it.” Instead of the white heart that is frequently included with posts about her most recent release, the Billboard 200 chart-topping album The Tortured Poets Department and its expanded Anthology, the words, which were taken from her Red epic “All Too Well,” were crowned with a traditional red heart emoji.
Swift’s photos include her duet with opener Gracie Abrams, group embraces and bows, a backstage photo with her band and dancers, victorious performance photographs, those final “August” twirls, and more.
On the last weekend of The Eras Tour, there were no end-of-tour antics—at least not that were visible to the 60,000-per-night audience on stage. All three nights of this tour were professionally videotaped for an undisclosed project, celebrating a refined level of showmanship. Highlights of the shows included unexpected songs like “Never Grow Up” and “The Best Day” (her parents were present), “The Tortured Poets Department” and “Maroon” (which is likely dedicated to a Tortured Poets muse), and “Long Live” and “New Year’s Day” and “The Manuscript” (a final night mashup of post-Eras reflection).
